My flight got in at around 9:30 am Paris time. I got very little sleep but it was alright. Took a bus tour all around the city basically and then made it to the dorms. They are very efficient (read: small). Then I took my first try on the Metro and the RER (let me tell you, it is all in French. all of it). Saw the Bastille. Now I am headed to buy a cell phone and take a walking tour around part of the city. Having dinner tonight outside of Saint-Michel's, near the river Seine. Then I think I must shower and sleep because it has been a long time (gross, I know). Anyhoo, talk to all you crazy kids later!

I hope you had a great dinner (c'est Paris, n'est-ce pas?) and some wonderful dessert (le mousse au chocolat, peut-etre?) followed by a warm shower and comfy bed. Did the stow-away in your backpack make it through Customs without a passport? Hope your jet-lag resolves quickly, so you can laissez les bons temps rouler and all that jazz! Zut alors! J'ai besoin de lecons francaises. (My memory sucks, and I don't know how to get the accents.) Have a fantastic time.
